Dr. Saeed khattak

Ph.D , University of Peshawar in Microbiology
Research Interest:  Dr. Saeed Khattak work in the area of fungal metabolomics. His main area of scientific interest is to identify bioactive endophytic fungal strains and to purify bioactive fungal secondary metabolites using LCMS and NMR spectroscopy methods as well as their quantitative analysis using high performance liquid chromatography methods. His research group is concerned with structural elucidation of secondary metabolites and identification of their biological functions. Other areas of interest include studying highly drug resistant nosocomial pathogens and mechanisms of resistance.
